Tobias Ide leitet den Programm­bereich Trans­nationale Politik am PRIF und ist Professor für Friedens-­ und Konflikt­forschung an der TU Darm­stadt. Er ist Vorstands­mitglied und stell­vertretender Leiter der Forschungs­gruppe Ökologie, Klima und Konflikte am PRIF. Seine Forschung befasst sich mit den sicherheits­politischen Impli­kationen des Klima­wandels, der Rolle von Umwelt in Friedens-­ und Konflikt­prozessen, Rebellen­gruppen und Bildung in Konflikt­kontexten.
