Climate Crisis Adaptation, Local-Level Resilience and Conflict – Dynamics, Trends and Patterns

Tobias Ide at Roundtable Podium Discussion co-conceived by Sabine Mannitz on Constraints and Opportunities for effective Climate Action Planning

At the end of the three-day conference “Climate Crisis Adaptation, Local-Level Resilience and Conflict – Dynamics, Trends and Patterns”, a roundtable discussion will take place at the University of Ghana on November 13. Five speakers from various African countries, Australia, and the US will discuss their assessments of “Constraints and Opportunities for Effective Climate Action Planning.” The conference was conceived by Abosede Omowumi Babatunde (University of Ilorin, Nigeria) and Sabine Mannitz (PRIF) and is being organized with Samuel Aniegye Ntewusu from the University of Ghana in Accra. The event, which is funded by the DFG's Point Sud program, will bring together 25 participants from 18 countries in the West African country.
