Dialogue & Education

PRIF combines basic research with an active dialog with society. The transfer of our research results to politics, the media and different social groups is a central task for us.

Science communication is therefore an essential part of our research work. We communicate research results in various formats of policy advice and civics education. At the same time, we take up impulses from society so that researchers can integrate them into their work.

We use a variety of instruments for science communication: traditional print publications, blogs, podcasts, videos, participation in parliamentary and ministerial hearings, lectures and panel discussions.

We also have a presence in political Berlin and, in addition to our headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, have an office in the House of the Leibniz Association. We inform and advise members of parliament, parliaments, ministries and authorities at state and federal level.
