Dr. Issaka K. Souaré

Associate Fellow

Issaka K. Souaré is a senior governance and mediation advisor, spanning academia, think-tank and policy institutions. His main research interests include governance and demo­cratization in Africa, Africa’s regional integration and international relations and peace and security and me­diation. He is an Associate Fellow in PRIF’s Research Department Glocal Junctions and Member of the Re­search Group African Intervention Politics. In the re­search project ”African Non-Military Conflict Intervention Practices (ANCIP)” he worked on the in­clusion of civil society organizations in the non-military interventions of ECOWAS and AU in Guinea since 2010.
