Award ceremony for gender equality and diversity 2025 in Gelsenkirchen

At the award ceremony on November 4 in Gelsenkirchen, PRIF (formerly HSFK) was awarded the TOTAL E-QUALITY award for gender equality and diversity for the sixth time. The institute was praised for its particularly mature and sustainable understanding of the structural anchoring of equal opportunities, as demonstrated, for example, by the integration of gender and diversity into the research program since 2024. In addition, PRIF's signing of the declaration "Gemeinsam gegen Sexismus und sexuelle Belästigung" ("Together Against Sexism and Sexual Harrassment") and its accession to the alliance of the same name were recognized as important steps toward preventing sexual misconduct.

The award is presented by the TOTAL E-QUALITY Deutschland e.V. initiative, founded in 1996. The jury includes members from companies, local authorities, and scientific institutions. Following a successful application to the TOTAL E-QUALITY e.V. association, the award is presented for a period of three years to organizations that are particularly committed to equal opportunities and actively implement them in practice. Institutions and organizations from science, business, and administration, as well as associations, are eligible to apply.
