Knowledge Transfer Officer

Democracy needs know­ledge – know­ledge needs to be trans­ferred. 

Franziska Heil is a Know­ledge Transfer Officer in the PrEval project and a member of the Radicali­zation Research Group. She works at the inter­section between academia, profes­sional practice, politics and the public and coordinates the exchange of information on current develop­ments and findings in the field of quality assurance in the prevention of extremism, the promo­tion of demo­cracy and political edu­cation. She has been working intensively on extremist (online) strate­gies and possible pre­vention approaches for several years. As part of a teaching assign­ment at the Hessian University of Applied Sciences for Public Manage­ment and Security, she shares her experiences with prospec­tive police officers in training.
