Presidential elections are coming up in Bolivia. Following the first round of elections in August, two candidates from the right are set to face off. Senator Rodrigo Paz Pereira and former president Jorge ‘Tuto’ Quiroga will both be bidding to become the first president in 20 years from outside the incumbent MAS party.
Before the second and final round of the Bolivian presidential election, Canning House is assembling a panel of expert analysts in a webinar to discuss likely outcomes, the presidential candidates, and the political challenges facing Bolivia. Jonas Wolff will give a short input on the topic “Bolivia's political economy. Relations between governments and economic elites.”
