On May 10, Patrick Flamm will speak at the ATCM Antarctic Governance Seminar in Hiroshima. Inviting key participants and experts, the seminar explores the significance of the main agenda items of the most important diplomatic meeting on Antarctica, the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting. Patrick Flamm will participate in the panel discussion on “Governance and Peace.”
Patrick Flamm is Head of the Research Group Ecology, Climate, and Conflict and Senior Researcher at PRIF in the Research Department International Security. His research focuses on the relationship between the environment, peace and security in the “Anthropocene” as well as on polar geopolitics.
