Commitment to Research and Knowledge Transfer on Latin America

Jonas Wolff was appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the Centro Maria Sibylla Merian de Estudios Latinoamericanos Avanzados (CALAS) in April 2025. CALAS was founded in 2017 and is an international research network funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space. It is headquartered in Guadalajara, Mexico, and has regional centers in Argentina, Costa Rica and Ecuador. 

Jonas Wolff has also been a member of the Advisory Board of the https://www.diag-frankfurt.de/German-Ibero-American Association (DIAG) since March 2025. The DIAG, based in Frankfurt am Main, has been dedicated to the exchange and dissemination of knowledge about the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean since it was founded in 1954. In close cooperation with the Instituto Cervantes, the DIAG offers a wide-ranging program of lectures and discussion events in the fields of culture, politics and business.
