On October 12, 2026, the PRIF hosted an international delegation of diplomats from the German Foreign Office’s WPS (“Women, Peace, and Security”) course. Dr. Stefan Kroll, Sophia Birchinger, and Frederik Schissler presented the institute’s research and discussed current issues in international peace and security policy with the participants.
The focus was on the role of women in peace processes as well as the challenges facing UN peacekeeping and peacebuilding in inter-state and intra-state conflicts within an increasingly complex international environment. The delegation included representatives from 20 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and Central America.
