Myanmar is a country in which students, teachers and healthcare professionals have been persecuted again in extreme ways in the past three years. 

Together with PRIF the Global Office and the Institute of Occupational, Social and Environmental Medicine of Goethe University Frankfurt are hosting a panel discussion that proceeds in thematic connection to the award-winning French exhibition "Poser pour la liberté/Standing for Freedom", which photo­graphically addresses the experiences of threatened and refugee academics and continues to be on display in the foyer of the IG Farben building of Goethe University until 17 February.

The panel discussion will be in English language. It will be followed by a reception where chefs of Myanmar heritage will offer typical snacks of the country.
