The Colombian peace agreement between the administration of Juan Manuel Santos and the FARC guerilla, signed on 24th November 2016, nourishes hopes for peace. To accompany the ongoing peace process in the areas of research and teaching, German universities and research institutions, among them PRIF, are involved in establishing a German-Colombian Peace Institute / Instituto Colombo-Alemán para la Paz (CAPAZ) in Bogotá.
