Petra Schmidt is an editor and communications expert specializing in design and new forms of work. She developed the platform “WorkNew - New Forms of Work in Science” for the Leibniz Association, which deals with innovative approaches for research institutions. As Managing Editor of documenta fifteen, she coordinated the editorial processes of all print publications and also worked as a freelance publicist, author and lecturer for numerous renowned universities and cultural institutions in Germany. She was editor-in-chief of the magazine form (1999-2007) and is still a sought-after speaker at conferences on design and communication.
